Garden I
(2020)
An imagined garden unfolds as a rhythm of color rather than place. Flowers emerge as bold gestures, painted in saturated reds and deep, resonant blues that press against one another like music held on a single breath. Petals are suggested, not defined, their forms dissolving into sweeping strokes and layered textures. The reds pulse with warmth and urgency, evoking sunlight, growth, and quiet intensity, while the blues cool and anchor the composition, hinting at shadow, water, and stillness. Together they create a dynamic tension, a conversation between heat and calm. There is no horizon, no fixed perspective, only movement and sensation. The garden exists as an emotional landscape, inviting the viewer to wander through color, memory, and mood. It is less about observing flowers than feeling their presence, alive, expressive, and constantly becoming. Brushwork remains loose, intuitive, and playful, encouraging personal interpretation and lingering contemplation beyond literal botanical reference, suggestions.
